International Baltic Sea Spartakiade

Baltic Sea Spartakiade of B7 islands

Based on the experience of numerous communities, sports club and other non-profit initiatives taken in the field of children's and youth's sports we could notice that our children urgently need sensible leisure-time activities. Contacts with other clubs from our neighbour EU countries in the Baltic Sea Area have shown that they carry out an active, non-profit sports work for children and young people, too.

So the idea of organizing a common sports meet was born: the seven islands spartakiade for children and young athletes.

Analogous to the EU project of B7 cooperation between the Baltic Sea islands Bornholm, Gotland, Hiiumaa, Rügen, Saaremaa, Öland and Åland there will be annual sports games with changing hosting place/islands.
