I Baltic Sea Spartakiade

The I International Baltic Sea Spartakiade was carried out on Rügen on the 23th and 24th of August 1997.

In the first Spartakiade partner regions of Rügen from Sweden, Poland and Denmark - 350 boys and girls between 13 and 14 years - took part.

They competed in events such as football, volleyball and track-and-field.
